With my mental health at the lowest of lows and the removal of my gallbladder my body had no idea what to do with itself. The numerous ED trips to follow resulted in a POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia  Syndrome) and what followed after that was me officially being forced to step away from a career I'd had since 2015 as a Hair and Makeup Artist. Being creative has always been apart of who I am and in a way to find my way back to me I began embracing that again. I had already started reading again a couple of years prior so combining my two outlets just felt natural. The name Girls Nest came to be from all of the ideas and creative things I now had forming around me, forming a 'nest' for me to grow in. For me to come back to myself. Hindsight is certainly a funny thing.
